GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager.

EDUCATION: Nursing Degree from an accredited institution required, BSN preferred. RN license in good standing required. CPR and ACLS required. CRNI preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant nursing experience. Minimum two (2) years of infusion experience. Minimum one (1) year as a nurse leader or equivalent leadership experience.
Other Qualifications : Training and development experience.
Performance Requirements
Work Environment : Work requires hand dexterity for office machine operation, stooping and bending to files and supplies, mobility to complete errands, or sitting for extended periods of time. Occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally work environment may be very stressful.
Mental/Physical Requirements : Normal office and clinic environment. May view computer screens for long periods of time. Occasional evening or weekend work.

- Provides clinical oversight to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care, development of staff and achievement of team and business goals.
- Conducts training and development programs for staff to assure competence in patient care. Provides mentoring, coaching and feedback.
- Supervise nursing care and manage scheduling at various sites and work collaboratively with the physician office team and other departments.
- Monitor the scheduling and inventory applications and other data reports to ensure nursing team is compliant with nursing note submission, documentation standards and completion of plans of treatment.
- Travel as needed for on-site training and new infusion center implementations
- Provides direction and leadership to ensure nursing care delivery is in accordance with company policy and procedures, ensures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation entities and works collaboratively across teams and functions to ensure an optimal and standardized patient experience.
- Assures that all patient-related documentation, and clinical and departmental reports, are accurately completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process. Corresponds with leadership team on employee/HR issues, departmental issues and any service issues.
- Be available for physician office infusion nursing coverage when required
- T ravel between locations as needed

- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance practices.
- Knowledge of computer programs and applications.
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
- Knowledge of managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines.
- Skill in effective personnel management including training staff and delegating duties.
- Skill in written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member with physicians and other staff.
- Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and direct the work of others.
- Ability to sort and file materials correctly by alphabetic or numeric systems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
- Prior experience interviewing candidates and determining staffing needs.
- Experience managing patient issues.
