We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Full-time Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes throughout the endoscopic care process.

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Full-time Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes throughout the endoscopic care process.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing GI endoscopy procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures by completing assessments, reviewing histories, and providing education
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, anticipating needs and responding to changes in patient status
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment, adhering to infection control standards and regulatory guidelines
- Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, medications, and outcomes in the medical record
- Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and GI technicians to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care
- Provide recovery and discharge teaching to patients and families, ensuring understanding of post-procedure instructions
- Support readiness of the unit by checking equipment, supplies, and room setup

Required Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in moderate sedation administration and monitoring
- Knowledge of GI endoscopy procedures and equipment
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Commitment to infection control and patient safety standards
- Current RN license in the state of Texas (required)
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in endoscopy, GI lab, or perioperative care (preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certification (required)
- Prior outpatient or ambulatory surgery center experience (preferred)
