Title: PACU Registered Nurse (Recovery Room Nurse)

Location: Branford, CT (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full Time, M-F 9:00-5:30, 40 hours per week, may include some weekends

Compensation

Pay Range: $45.00-$52.00 Per Hr

Description

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Adhere to facility policies and procedures while providing patient care.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate patient status on admission and ongoing basis.

Implement appropriate standards of care based on assessment data and patient goals.

Coordinate nursing interventions to achieve expected outcomes and ensure readiness for discharge.

Direct and provide patient care in emergency situations.

Evaluate patient's progress toward outcome achievement continuously.

Participate in monitoring and evaluating nursing care provided.

Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.

Minimum Three (3) Years Of PACU Nursing Experience.

Current state licensure to practice.

Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment.

Completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment.

Completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment.
