A health services network in New York is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Residential System and work at one of their group homes in Westchester County.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Temp to Perm
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm
• Setting: Group Home
• Patient Population: Developmentally / Intellectually Disabled

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the assessment, planning and implementation of medical care
• Provide oversight and training of direct care staff in monitoring the medical system
• Provide documented oversight of medical appointments and medical issues
• Coordinate and monitor health services, as well as signs and symptoms of illness
• Monitor care during medical hospitalizations
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Solid assessment and documentation skills

Desired Skills:

• 1+ year of related Nursing experience
• Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with the Developmentally / Intellectually Disabled population
