Job Title: RN – Infection Control (Part-Time, Days)

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Infection Control Registered Nurse (RN) to join a community-focused healthcare organization serving patients across the Merrimack Valley. This role is ideal for an RN who is passionate about infection prevention, staff education, and ensuring adherence to the highest standards of patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage infection prevention programs in collaboration with clinical leadership.
• Identify, investigate, monitor, and report healthcare-associated infections and communicable diseases.
• Educate and train staff on infection prevention strategies and evidence-based guidelines.
• Conduct audits, data collection, analysis, and prepare reports for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to sustain best practices in infection control.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Massachusetts (or eligible upon acceptance).
• Completion of a basic training program in infection control and risk management.
• Knowledge of state/federal regulations and accreditation standards.
• Strong communication (oral and written), leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Shift: Days, Part-Time (20 hrs/week)
• Competitive pay: $41.46 – $48.47/hr, based on experience
• No holiday coverage required
