Operating Room Manager

Location: MemorialCare Surgical Center at Saddleback - Laguna Hills, CA

The OR Manager leads the Operating Room team at MemorialCare Surgical Center, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. This role provides hands-on leadership, supervision, and mentorship to nursing and support staff, while managing daily operations, scheduling, and regulatory compliance in a collaborative and respectful environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and ensure the implementation of the patient's pathway to achieve identified outcomes
• Lead the nursing team in delivering exceptional care across all perioperative services.
• Assumes a leadership role in the provision of quality nursing care for patients receiving services within the nursing department
• Demonstrates continued competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals based upon age-specific needs, utilizing a developmental perspective
• Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for the position
• Supervises the smooth functioning of the unit on the assigned shift
• Performs all other duties as assigned to support departmental goals
  
  

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of California
• Minimum 1 year of continuous leadership or supervisory experience
• At least 2 years of OR circulating experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN required); Master’s in Nursing or Management preferred
• Prior experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) strongly preferred
• Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• CNOR certification preferred
