Job Description

Join a supportive, growth-focused environment as a New Graduate RN in our Progressive Surgical Unit. This program is designed for recent nursing graduates (or nurses with less than one year of experience), providing hands-on clinical exposure and mentorship in a fast-paced, post-operative care setting.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver patient-centered care in a surgical step-down unit under the guidance of experienced RNs and clinical educators
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from surgical procedures, escalating changes in condition as appropriate
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and support patient recovery
• Document patient care and education accurately and timely in the electronic health record system
• Participate in unit-based learning, simulations, and regular check-ins with preceptors as part of the residency program

Shift Details

• 36 hours/week – 12-hour variable shifts
• 24 hours/week – 12-hour variable shifts

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license (or eligibility upon hire)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Less than 12 months of RN experience

Preferred Qualifications

• National certification in a related specialty area (or commitment to obtain one)
