Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. Loyola Medicine Transport is based at Loyola University Medical Center and is part of a three-hospital system including Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital.
The RN Coordinator, Advanced Lung Disease assists in the care of the patient from candidate referral, evaluation, acceptance, transplant and follow-up. The coordinator is an expert in not only the care of the transplanted patient, but in advanced disease and works within a multidisciplinary team in the management of the patient in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Works with outpatient clinic, telephone triage, notifying patients of lab and test results, and medication changes. Education for staff and patients, both hospitalized and in the ambulatory setting, is essential. The coordinator will also be well versed in policies related to donation and transplant. The transplant coordinator will be working with pulmonary, advanced lung disease patients.
What We Offer
Salary Range: $48.14 - 63.75per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

- 2-3 years acute hospital or transplant experience
- BSN, Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Current IL RN license
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
- Preferred: Specialty certification in clinical or functional area of nursing granted by a national nursing organization
- Preferred: National Certification as Transplant Coordinator or other related specialty preferred.
