Shift Type: Nights

Shift Details: 3x12 hour shifts; may float across campuses to similar units (MB/PP/L&D)

Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend & holiday rotation if scheduled

Job Description

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the RN contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

Unit Details

• 45-bed unit with 2 ORs
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1–2
• High-risk OB, antepartum, C-sections, vaginal deliveries
• Common drips: Magnesium, Insulin
  
  

Technology & Systems

• EMR: EPIC
• New hire orientation: 8 hours

All travelers must be COVID vaccinated. Medical and religious exemptions available upon request.

Local Candidate Policy

Candidates with a taxable home address within 60 miles of the facility will be billed at a rate 10% lower.

Submission Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Mother/Baby or Postpartum experience in a hospital setting
• BLS & NRP certifications
• Prior travel contract experience required
