Pay: $55 – $58/hour (Weekly Pay)

Job Description

We are actively hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) with a Med Surg background for a 13-week contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking to work weekday shifts with competitive weekly pay. You’ll be working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment providing high-quality care to a diverse surgical population.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional nursing care to post-operative surgical patients including Orthopedic, Vascular, Urology, and Bariatric cases
• Perform routine assessments, medication administration, documentation, and care planning
• Manage patient care related to vent/tracheostomy, gastrostomy tubes, and wound care
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate charting and communication
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards of practice

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active RN license in the state of New York
• BSN-prepared Registered Nurse
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Med Surg setting
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and healthcare-related systems

Preferred:

• ACLS certification
• Board certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing
• Experience with trach/vent/gastrostomy care and complex wound management
