Join our team at Cambridge Rehab & Healthcare Center as a Full Time RN Unit Manager (Memory Care Unit).

Responsibilities for a Unit Manager:

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for up to 60 resident cares on Memory Care unit on one floor.
  • Oversees resident care to promote the highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning possible for assigned unit.
  • Ensures complete and prompt reporting of incidents with follow-up as necessary to Administrator and Director of Nursing.
  • Actively participates in committee/programs as directed by Director of Nursing
  • Participates in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures based on identified needs.

Qualifications For a RN Unit Manager

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in New Jersey.
  • Must possess an active CPR Certificate (BLS).
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required; Two (2) years or more years of experience as a supervisor in a nursing care Center, Dementia Unit, hospital or other related health care Center.
