Community Medical Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Assistant Manager, Burn for a nursing job in Fresno, California.

Responsibilities:

Located at Community Regional Medical Center — home to the region’s only Level I Trauma Center — our Leon S. Peters Burn Center is the only around-the-clock, ABA-verified Burn Center between Sacramento and Los Angeles. This 10-bed unit delivers specialized care for both pediatric and adult patients, ranging from mild scald burns and skin grafts to high-acuity trauma cases. With a collaborative, evidence-based approach, the Burn Center plays a vital role in the continuum of care for patients across the Central Valley. 

  • Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to support a multidisciplinary team dedicated to burn and trauma care. 
  • Coordinate patient care, foster staff development, and drive performance improvements to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for a diverse burn population. 
  • Foster a positive working environment in your unit as part of an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued, and you actively help team members navigate their career growth and development. 

As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts. 

Qualifications:
  • RN – Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required 
  • BLS – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required 
  • Certifications as required for the unit
