Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Schedule: Full-time | Days and Nights | Rotating Weekends

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg Unit. In this fast-paced role, you'll provide high-quality, patient-centered care and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patients with diverse medical needs. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition upon admission and throughout each shift; identify and report changes promptly.
• Perform nursing interventions and procedures as prescribed by medical providers.
• Administer medications, monitor for side effects, and respond appropriately to patient reactions.
• Accurately document all care and services provided in the patient's medical record.
• Respond to patient needs with urgency and professionalism, ensuring compassionate care delivery.
• Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license or compact state license (active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if holding a compact license).
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Diploma or ASN program; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous acute care experience is mandatory.
• Previous charge nurse experience is required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and utilize PC systems effectively.
