Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: New York, NY (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full Time, Monday - Friday 8am-4pm, Saturdays and Late Nights rotated

Compensation

Salary: $33.00 - $35.56 Per Hr

Description

Deliver safe, quality patient care and services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Collaborate with a designated care team to achieve patient care goals.

Adhere to the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Department and Organization.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate competency in performing treatments and procedures.

Assist in achieving patients' respiratory needs, including aerosol and inhalation treatments.

Perform oral and endotracheal suctioning.

Insert and remove Foley catheters, perform EKGs, and phlebotomy for blood collection.

Prepare and administer medication, observing patients' responses.

Obtain and record vital signs, height and weight, and collect specimens.

Qualifications

Certificate of completion from a practical nurse course of study.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.

Demonstrated clinical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Current New York State LPN license and registration.

Current BCLS, Infection Control, and Child Abuse Certificates required.
