Infusion Registered Nurse – Greensboro, NC

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Saturdays as needed)

Service Area: Primarily Greensboro, NC; may float to other nearby clinics

Position Summary

The Infusion RN provides medically prescribed infusion therapy to patients with both acute and chronic conditions in an ambulatory clinic setting. The RN works as part of an interdisciplinary care team and ensures quality, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, patient care planning, and infusion therapy
• Administer IV and injectable medications safely as prescribed
• Access and maintain central lines and PIVs
• Obtain labs and vital signs, monitor and document all patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease and drug-specific info
• Travel to nearby clinics as needed; participate in on-call rotation
• Respond to and report adverse drug reactions promptly
• Assist with administrative duties when needed
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ACHC, and state nurse practice acts
• Participate in in-service education to stay current in medical practices

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or higher)
• Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact license)
• 1+ year of nursing experience with infusion therapy
• BLS certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Strong adaptability in fast-paced or changing environments
