As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN , you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Madison, WI.

Schedule: 34 hours/week

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
  
  

What We Are Seeking

We are a small, mission-driven health center seeking a dependable, team-oriented LPN with a strong work ethic and a passion for providing excellent patient care.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a primary care or community health setting
• Exceptional phlebotomy skills (required)
• Experience in both front and back office responsibilities
• Ability to support providers during exams and minor procedures
• Proficient in administering injections, collecting and processing lab specimens and drug screens
• Comfortable managing patient check-in/check-out, referrals, and other administrative tasks
• Epic EMR experience a plus

What You’ll Do

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
