Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Center Cypress, located in Cypress, Texas, is a premier outpatient facility dedicated to providing exceptional gastrointestinal care in a patient-focused environment. As part of the Memorial Hermann Health System and United Surgical Partners International (USPI), we specialize in advanced endoscopic procedures with a commitment to safety, efficiency, and clinical excellence.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to providing safe, high-quality care for patients before and after endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, medication history, and anesthesia risk evaluation
• Educate patients and families on procedure preparation, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Monitor patients during the immediate recovery phase, responding to any complications or changes in condition
• Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient flow
• Maintain compliance with infection control, regulatory, and accreditation standards
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and a positive care experience at every stage

Required Experience:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Pre-Op, PACU, or critical care nursing (ambulatory surgery experience preferred)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
