Description

Wound Care RN – Part Time

3-days/week (Monday-Friday)

Purpose: A wound care center RN is a specialized Registered Nurse focused on assessing, treating, and managing various acute and chronic wounds, often requiring expertise in advanced wound care, infection control, and patient education.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate office visits, pre-procedure workups, and patient education with the multidisciplinary team.
• Foster continuity of care between WHC and caretaker (home, hospital, HH etc.)
• Coordinate the use of clinic staff, exam room space, and supplies.
• Prepare for clinic to enable accurate and complete updates to the physician.
• Triage telephone calls and assist with scheduling.
• Maintain an open, professional line of communication with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Safely operate all clinical equipment in the clinic.
• Maintain appropriate infection control procedures.
• Maintain skills and knowledge through training and continuing education.
• Monitor condition of equipment and report malfunctions to Clinical Manager.
  
  

Education And Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current FL RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of med-surg experience. Wound Care experience preferred.
