Wound Care RN – Part Time
3-days/week (Monday-Friday)
Purpose: A wound care center RN is a specialized Registered Nurse focused on assessing, treating, and managing various acute and chronic wounds, often requiring expertise in advanced wound care, infection control, and patient education.

Description
Wound Care RN – Part Time
3-days/week (Monday-Friday)
Purpose: A wound care center RN is a specialized Registered Nurse focused on assessing, treating, and managing various acute and chronic wounds, often requiring expertise in advanced wound care, infection control, and patient education.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate office visits, pre-procedure workups, and patient education with the multidisciplinary team.
- Foster continuity of care between WHC and caretaker (home, hospital, HH etc.)
- Coordinate the use of clinic staff, exam room space, and supplies.
- Prepare for clinic to enable accurate and complete updates to the physician.
- Triage telephone calls and assist with scheduling.
- Maintain an open, professional line of communication with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Safely operate all clinical equipment in the clinic.
- Maintain appropriate infection control procedures.
- Maintain skills and knowledge through training and continuing education.
- Monitor condition of equipment and report malfunctions to Clinical Manager.
- Registered Nurse, graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
- Current FL RN licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of med-surg experience. Wound Care experience preferred.
