RN Registered Nurse - PCU Stepdown - Brooksville, FL (Sign on Bonus up to $15k)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse with charge nurse experience to join our Cardiac Stepdown unit. This role requires clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, efficient care to patients in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate thrives in teamwork and finds meaning in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership as the Charge Nurse on the PCU stepdown unit
• Deliver direct patient care and ensure safety, comfort, and quality care for all patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Manage telemetry monitoring and cardiac-related interventions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN licensure or compact license with active FL RN license within 60 days of hire
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (preferably in a cardiac or stepdown setting)
• Previous charge nurse experience is mandatory
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with basic PC skills
• Must be able to work onsite
