Our client is currently seeking a 1:1 School Nurse around the Delaware County area.

Job Title: 1:1 School Nurse (RN or LPN)

Location: Broomall, PA

Openings: 2 Full-Time Positions

Position Overview This school district is hiring experienced and compassionate 1:1 School Nurses to provide direct medical support to individual students during the school day. This role involves delivering personalized care, monitoring health conditions, and collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure student well-being and academic success.

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor student health needs
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans in coordination with families and medical providers
• Support students with chronic health conditions or disabilities
• Promote wellness and provide health education to students and staff
• Identify and address health and safety risks within the school environment
• Coordinate care with school personnel, families, and external providers
• Ensure compliance with immunization and health screening requirements
• Follow infection control protocols and public health standards
  
  

Required Qualifications

• RN Candidates: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; active RN license in good standing
• LPN Candidates: Valid LPN license; accepted for alternative specialty roles
• Preferred experience in pediatric, school, or public health nursing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and basic office software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
