Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical (Nights)- Salina, KS (Accepting new graduates)

Shift: Nights: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (12 hrs)

Position Summary

Medical-Surgical RN provides specialty professional nursing care for a variety of medical and surgical patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation, and according to professional standards, state regulations, and in keeping with the health center mission. The Med-Surg RN will work in either the 3SE, 4Med, or 5Surg department.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care using the full nursing process.
• Ensure safe, high-quality patient care in line with standards and regulations.
• Monitor patients, administer medications, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to support optimal outcomes.
• Build meaningful patient relationships within a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma from an accredited school of nursing (required)
• Current Kansas RN license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
