Job Overview – Registered Nurse (Wound Care):

Compensation: $33 – $36/hour

Location: Knoxville, TN

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Onsite)

Elevate patient outcomes as a Registered Nurse (Wound Care) with our client in Knoxville, TN. You will provide specialized wound care through evidence-based assessments, treatment planning, and direct interventions. In this role, you’ll collaborate with physicians and the care team, monitor patient conditions, and educate patients and families on wound management. Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (Wound Care):

• Direct Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care using evidence-based practice and clinical expertise.
• Condition Monitoring: Assess and respond to changes in patient condition, ensuring timely interventions and safe recovery.
• Wound Care Management: Deliver specialized wound care treatments, including dressing changes, prevention strategies, and healing support.
• Physician Collaboration: Accurately implement physician orders while working closely with providers in outpatient settings.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on wound care management, prevention, and recovery practices.

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (Wound Care):

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN required for Magnet hospitals.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee required.
• Certification: Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required, with prior wound care and outpatient experience strongly preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with medical billing and coding is preferred.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
