Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital is adding an additional position to its Medical Surgical Unit. The FHSH Medical Surgical Unit is a 24 bed unit. RN to patient ratio is 1:5 or less depending on the acuity of the patient.

Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital is seeking nurses like you for challenging 12 hour shifts.

In this role you will provide care to post operative metabolic and bariatric surgery patients along with other surgical patients.  In the FHSH Medical Surgical Unit, you will care for patients post bariatric, vascular, thyroid or other general surgeries. You will be working with a team that has attained the Healthgrades Bariatric Excellence Award 6 years in a row. 

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required.
• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required.
• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
