Overview

A busy outpatient infusion center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its care team. This position involves providing high-quality infusion care to patients of all ages in a supportive, team-based environment. The ideal candidate will have strong IV therapy skills, infusion experience, and a patient-centered approach.

Assignment Type

• Temp-to-perm option is available depending on performance

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage IV therapy and infusions for patients in an outpatient neurology setting
• Provide and coordinate direct patient care
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans
• Offer support and guidance to patients throughout the infusion process
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and fellow RNs to ensure quality care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program with a current NYS RN license
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting
• At least one (1) year of infusion experience required; chemotherapy infusion experience preferred
• Current CPR certification required
