Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)- Ocala, FL

Shifts Available: Mixed (Rotating Weekends) / Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Emergency Room RN to join our team. To be successful in this role you must be a quick thinker, decision-maker, and multitasker, with a willingness to adapt to whatever the day may bring. In this role you will provide nursing care on cases ranging from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in the ER setting
• Develop individualized care plans with defined outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as needed
• Prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Provide patient education and follow-up care instructions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care
• Maintain a focus on patient safety and satisfaction at all times
  
  

Qualifications

• 1 year of Recent (within the last 2-3 years) ER Acute Care RN experience
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
