Position Description

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Placement

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Rotating Weekends & On-Call

Shifts: 4x10 (7:30a-6:00p) or 5x8 (7:30a-4p)

Compensation & Incentives:

Salary Range: $33.00 – $52.80 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000

Relocation Reimbursement: Up to $2,500

Position Summary:

The OR RN is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans using ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. This role includes:

Acting as a patient advocate

Providing direct care, education, and emotional support to patients and families

Demonstrating technical competence in nursing procedures and equipment

Managing medication inventory and delivery as needed

Requirements:

Licensure/Certification:

Must be licensed and registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of permanent residency

American Heart Association BLS certification required

Must complete AORN’s Periop 101 class upon hire

Education:

Associate’s degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field within 3 months of hire,

OR

Completion of a 12-month ultrasound program within 3 months of hire

Certification:

Registered by ARDMS or CCI,

OR registry eligible and must become registered within one year of hire

Must maintain registry status and fulfill annual continuing education requirements

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting

Skills & Competencies:

Must meet specific competencies required by the hiring entity.

Work Schedule:

Assigned to day, evening, or night shifts per departmental policy

Scheduled off at least three holidays per year

Required to work weekends based on unit needs

Occasional overtime expected

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
