Job Title: Registered Nurse (Multiple Specialties)

Location: Rochester, NY

Contract Duration: 13 weeks (initial, with strong extension potential)

  • Cardiac Transplant Stepdown
  • Radiation Oncology
  • Organ Transplant
  • Endoscopy

Role Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide direct patient care, coordinate treatment plans, and support interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality healthcare in your area of specialty. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team promptly.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and health management.
  • Participate in shift rotations, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Active New York RN License (mandatory)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant specialty department
  • Telemetry experience required
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and fast-paced healthcare environments

Additional Details

  • Shift Schedules: Days, Evenings, Nights, Rotating
  • Other Duties: On-Call, Call Back, Charge, Holidays, Weekends as needed
