Title: Registered Nurse

Salary: $80.00-$85.00 Per HR

Description

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention
• Monitor treatment plans and progress
• Coordinate health care services within an interdisciplinary team
• Conduct staff training in medical administration and hygiene
• Control communicable diseases and infections through assessment and reporting
  
  

RN Responsibilities

• Arrange medical services and issue referrals
• Provide follow-up on medical issues
• Conduct training for staff in various health-related topics
• Supervise medication administration and storage
• Provide first aid and attend to emergency needs
• Maintain medical documentation and health records
• Transport individuals to appointments as necessary
  
  

RN Qualifications

• Valid license and current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
• Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing
• At least one year of experience with community-based health services for developmental disabilities
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of equipment typically used by persons receiving services
• Willingness to work at various program sites
