The RiverSpring Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) provides comprehensive and personalized home healthcare services for older adults to maximize their independence at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direction, coordination, and direct supervision of the agency’s paraprofessional staff, including home health aides, personal care aides, companions, and nurses.
- Conduct in-field professional supervision and on-the-job training.
- Assist in classroom and field competency testing for staff.
- Current New York State License as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or a related health or human services field preferred.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience in an acute care facility.
- One year of satisfactory nursing experience in Home Care preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of the scope of practice for both professional and paraprofessional healthcare.
- Strong ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and employees.
- Competence in performing mathematical operations related to medication calculations and measurements.
- Excellent organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Annual salary: $115,000 - $125,000
