Our Registered Nurse – Device Liaison role offers a unique opportunity to apply your clinical nursing expertise in a non-traditional setting, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for patient well-being through medical device technology. You will assist the service team with device collection and facilitate room-to-room device swap-outs.

This is a Per-diem assignment-based role requiring national travel and flexibility to align with your current schedule. You’ll commit to 40+ hours per week and have the opportunity to grow and gain exposure to the medical device industry.

• Navigate units and coordinate with unit nurses to assist with pulling pumps as needed
• Full-time commitment requiring travel and flexibility to work with your current schedule.
• Assignment-based schedule with 40+ hour commitment per week. Travel nationally to support customer needs.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Collect devices in a hospital setting while collaborating with local nursing staff.
• Utilize previous hospital experience and customer service skills to ensure the device collection process does not interfere with hospital operations.
• Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to Lead Tech during and after in-service assignments.
• Work with a team of technicians to effectively manage the flow of devices throughout the project duration.
• Facilitate device remediation while minimizing disruption to hospital staff and workflows.
• Maintain a calm and understanding approach to reduce any negative impact on hospital personnel.
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Nursing Degree required (ADN or BSN)
• Active RN license
• Hospital or industry experience required
• Emergency Room or Critical Care experience preferred
• Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) is a plus
• Strong professional communication and soft skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift equipment up to 50 lbs
• Availability for 3 weeks per month
• Must have a personal vehicle and be willing to travel up to 3 hours from home
• Must reside within 1 hour of a major airport
• Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision
• Must meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of up-to-date vaccinations

The potential base pay range for this role is $35.00 - $37.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
