Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical leader and resource for the OR team during assigned shifts
• Oversee daily operations including case flow, staffing assignments, and equipment readiness
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
• Respond to emergent situations with sound judgment and clinical expertise
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to policy development
  
  

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license - active and in good standing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred
• Minimum 2-4 years of perioperative nursing experience
• Prior leadership or charge nurse experience - strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to lead under pressure and adapt in a dynamic surgical environment
