Position Description

Position Title Certified Nurse Practitioner
Type Full Time/Part Time (Opportunity for Part-Time with Freya's Lair Medical Spa as well)
Location Albuquerque, NM
Position Summary 
Ribera Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse practitioner (NP) to join our team. In this role, you will provide independent acute and routine medical care to a diverse patient population, serve as a trusted consultant for colleagues and contribute to the health and well-being of the community. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with an emphasis on high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
 Competitive pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour (depending on experience)
 Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including detailed histories, physical exams and care planning
 Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions for a specified patient population
 Provide pre- and post-operative care, writing appropriate medical orders (including controlled substances)
 Respond to emergencies, performing lifesaving interventions as needed (e.g., CPR, hemorrhage control)
 Supervise and support clinic staff; ensure quality and safety standards are met
 Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes and care documentation
 Deliver health education to patients, families and community members
 Mentor and support new NPs and PAs in clinical practice
 Participate in continuing education, training and professional development
 Contribute to clinical research or quality improvement initiatives as applicable
Qualifications
 Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
 Licensure/Certification: Eligible for New Mexico certification as a PA or CNP (or certification in active progress). CPR certification required.
 Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
 Strong knowledge of clinical operations, pharmacology and emergency procedures
 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
 Excellent communication and patient education skills
 Experience with pre-op, OR and post-op procedures a plus
 Conditions of Employment: Must pass pre-employment background check, maintain credentials and comply with OSHA standards. Annual TB and rubella screening required.

 Competitive salary: $100,000 – $150,000 annually (Yearly depending on experience/qualifications)

 Moderate physical activity; may require standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
