Registered Nurse – ASC & Clinic (Pre-Op, PACU, Endoscopy)

Location: Spring, TX 77289

Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Work Days: Varies

Rate: $46.00 per hour

Type: Contract (3 months+) will likely go direct

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center and Clinic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in delivering high-quality, age-specific patient care and will collaborate effectively with physicians, anesthesia providers, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors. Strong communication skills and professionalism are essential.

This role involves providing safe and competent nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, as well as standards set by ASPAN (American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nursing), AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses), and SGNA (Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates).

Qualifications:

Education

• Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Experience

• Required: Minimum of 2 years RN experience in PACU, Pre-Op, or Endoscopy
• Preferred: Experience in Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), Emergency Room (ER), Infusion Therapy, Ambulatory Surgery Center, or hospital setting

Licenses and Certifications

• Required:
• Active Texas RN license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required for Endoscopy and PACU
• Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Special Skills
• Basic computer proficiency
