RN – Med/Surg (Night Shift)

Job Overview:
Step into a vital role providing professional bedside care on our Med/Surg unit. In this night shift position, you’ll use the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient responses. A key part of your responsibilities includes accurate documentation and providing leadership for non-licensed caregivers.

Key Duties:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for medical/surgical patients.
• Document patient interactions, care, and response accurately in line with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Direct and supervise non-licensed team members to maintain exceptional care standards.

Position Details:

• Full-time, night shift (7 pm–7 am)
• 72 hours per pay period

RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Job Overview:
Join our Emergency Department team for a dynamic night shift nursing role! Responsibilities include patient assessment and triage, managing emergent situations, performing essential ER procedures, and ensuring documentation meets clinical standards.

Key Duties:

• Evaluate and triage patients presenting to the ER, responding rapidly to changes in condition.
• Complete and update emergency room patient records.
• Deliver skilled emergency care and interventions according to protocol.
• Communicate clearly with doctors, team members, and patients in urgent scenarios.

Position Details:

• Full-time, night shift (Monday–Thursday, 7 pm–7 am)
• 72 hours per pay period

Minimum Requirements for All RN Positions

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license (Iowa)
• BCLS and ACLS certification (or renewal at first available course)
• Completion of TNCC course within 1 year (ER position)
• Prior acute care experience preferred, especially in emergency/intensive care
• Demonstrated communication skills—verbal and written
• Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and direct others
• Calm, professional demeanor amid high pressure and interruptions
• Organizational self-motivation and effective decision-making
