This is a part-time Registered Nurse role focused on providing quality nursing care in the transplant unit at Wellstar MCG Health. The RN works as part of a patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for transplant patients. The nurse acts as a key communicator between patients, families, doctors, and other caregivers, ensuring a supportive and safe environment.

• Deliver individualized, high-quality nursing care to transplant patients.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities.
• Maintain professional competence and ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
• Support and develop other staff members.
• Follow hospital policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Active Georgia RN license or multistate compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required within 6 months of hire depending on unit.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Specialty certification related to transplant nursing preferred.
