Main Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient needs using evidence-based practice.
• Patient-Centered Approach: Partner with patients and families, keep them updated, provide education.
• Teamwork: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure safe, quality care.
• Professional Development: Continue clinical learning, complete required training, mentor or precept newer nurses/staff.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Use current best practices in nursing care, contribute to research and quality improvement.
• Efficiency: Manage resources wisely, support safe discharge planning, and help reduce readmission rates.

Qualifications Needed

• Education:
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required)
  • Bachelor’s in Nursing (preferred)
• License/Certifications:
  • RN license in Georgia or a Multi-State Compact license (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Skills:
  • Strong critical thinking and time management
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and emergencies calmly
  • Good teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
  • Comfortable with computers and medical technology
