Pyramid Consulting is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg for a nursing job in Griffin, Georgia.

This is a part-time RN role with weekend day shifts at Wellstar Spalding Medical Center, providing care for medical-surgical patients with a focus on neurological and stroke conditions.

The RN works as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, and personalized patient care. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care using evidence-based nursing practices.

• Perform comprehensive nursing processes: patient assessment, diagnosis, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide patient-centered care respecting diverse backgrounds and conditions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams through methods like bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Follow the latest clinical practice standards and hospital policies to maintain safety and quality.
• Coordinate and document safe nursing care, promote teamwork, and participate in quality improvement and shared governance activities.
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor to support the growth of other nursing staff.
• Support and participate in evidence-based practice, research, and hospital initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

• Nursing degree (Associate required, Bachelor preferred).
• Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred 5 years nursing experience, with strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to handle fast-paced, emergency, and complex patient care situations with professionalism.
