A well-established surgical services department in Lithonia is hiring an Operating Room Supervisor to support a growing, high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OR nurse ready to step into leadership—or for a current charge nurse or supervisor seeking a dynamic new environment.

About the OR

• Case mix includes General Surgery, Urology (strong robotic program with Da Vinci Xi), and expanding Spine, Thoracic, and Colorectal specialties
• Second robotic system planned this year

Role Summary

The Operating Room Supervisor will:

• Oversee daily OR operations and staff workflow
• Support coordination of surgical schedules and case throughput
• Act as a clinical resource for nursing and surgical tech staff
• Collaborate on department improvements and staff development
• Foster a safe, efficient, and patient-focused OR environment

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Georgia (required)
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience
• Experience as Charge RN, Preceptor, or Supervisor highly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Passion for mentoring, team development, and clinical excellence
