Position Description

Interventional Radiology RN

Join a close-knit team where collaboration, trust, and respect are at the center of everything we do. Our Interventional Radiology (IR) team of 15 is supported by an RN Coordinator, Charge RN, Nurse Manager, and Director, and we’re looking for an RN to grow with us.

Here, you’ll know your teammates by name and work in a family-style culture while gaining exposure to complex cases and diverse procedures in a community hospital setting.

What You’ll Do

  • Circulate and scrub for a variety of IR and vascular procedures, including:
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Vascular Interventions
  • Diagnostic Caths
  • PCI
  • Electrophysiology Studies
  • STEMI Call
  • Collaborate with physicians, techs, and fellow RNs in a supportive environment.
  • Work across 3 fully equipped procedure rooms, averaging 17 cases daily across all modalities.

Schedule & Call

  • Schedule: 4x10s (7:00a–5:30p)
  • Flexibility: request preferred shifts 2–3 weeks in advance
  • Call Pay (among the highest in the region):
  • $7/hr while on call
  • $500 flat for weekends (even if not called in)
  • Time-and-a-half if called in
  • Amenities: 3 call rooms with private bedrooms, TVs, showers, and quiet space
  • Fair rotation: call shifts are evenly distributed and swappable among teammates

Interview Process

  1. Panel interview with Clinical Manager, RN Coordinator, and Charge RN
  2. Shadow interview to experience the unit and meet the team firsthand

Qualifications

  • RN with Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience preferred
  • Open to RNs with strong backgrounds in Vascular, ICU, ED, or PACU who want to transition into IR
  • Passion for teamwork, flexibility, and continuous learning
