Position Summary

Lahey Clinic Hospital is seeking experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurses for a travel assignment within the Float Pool. Nurses will float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed. This is a rotating shift position with weekend and holiday rotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in PCU, Med/Surg, and Telemetry units.
• Titrate pressors and manage patients on vasoactive drips.
• Care for patients on High Flow oxygen and BiPAP.
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients.
• Float between units based on staffing needs.
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: ASN required
• Licensure: Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Certifications: BLS required
• Experience:
• 3–5 years of inpatient nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years in PCU or MS/Tele in a Level 1 Trauma Facility
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Skills:
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking
• Experience with telemetry and advanced respiratory support
• Testing: Telemetry test administered on Day 1 (pass/fail; failure may result in assignment termination)
