• Title: RN – Pre-op & PACU (Procedure Suite)
• Location: 110 South Bedford Road, Mt. Kisco, NY
• Duration: 19 weeks
• Schedule: Days 5x8 hours
• Hourly Blended Pay Rate: $40.00 – $45.00

Must-Have Qualifications/Experience:

• Active RN license in New York.
• Prior experience in pre-op, PACU, or procedural care settings.
• Strong assessment, patient education, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills/Attributes:

• Previous experience in a GI/endoscopy or Quad A outpatient procedure suite.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Top Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, accurate, and timely admission of patients into the procedure suite.
• Obtain procedural and anesthesia consents from patients prior to procedures.
• Pre-procedure responsibilities include:
• Assessing patient appropriateness for procedures.
• Advising patients on medication holds and necessary pre-procedure testing.
• Post-procedure responsibilities include:
• Recovering patients in PACU.
• Monitoring vitals and readiness for safe discharge.
• Providing post-procedure education to patients and escorts.
• Addressing patient or family questions or concerns prior to discharge.
• Assist with specimen collection and documentation when needed.

Note: Temps will not be trained in procedure room; focus will be pre-op and PACU only unless transitioning to permanent staff.
