A school near Tualatin, Oregon is looking for a full-time Private Duty Nurse, or Registered Nurse,to provide personalized, one-on-one care for a student within the school setting. The ideal candidate will ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the student, allowing them to fully participate in their educational environment. Experience in trach care is required.

• Deliver individualized nursing care for the assigned student, including health assessments, medication administration, and monitoring of chronic conditions or acute medical needs.
• Manage and operate medical equipment required for the student, such as ventilators, feeding tubes, or oxygen systems.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Assist the student with activities of daily living (e.g., mobility, toileting, feeding) as needed.
• Collaborate with the student's family, school staff, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and support the students educational experience.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of care provided, including medication logs, progress notes, and incident reports.
• Educate school staff and peers on the student's specific health needs, if appropriate, to foster a supportive environment.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, health regulations, and individualized health care plans (IHPs).
• Active Oregon RNlicense.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
