About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Infusion Center team. This role involves administering a variety of infusion therapies, monitoring patient safety, and ensuring an excellent care experience in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. Ideal candidates will bring strong IV experience and a proactive, team-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow physician instructions and verbal orders accurately
• Perform lab draws, injections, initiate and monitor IV infusions
• Administer GI, neurology, rheumatology, allergy medications, and chemotherapy
• Educate patients on infusion therapies and medication side effects
• Calculate/mix medications; recognize and respond to adverse reactions
• Monitor and care for up to 10 patients per shift
• Pre-schedule chemotherapy patients if needed
• Accurately document care and patient communication in EMR
• Maintain clean and well-stocked infusion rooms and crash carts
• Adhere to HIPAA and clinic protocols
• Support clinical operations with additional duties as assigned

Schedule

• Shifts between 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois (IL)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• At least 1 year of infusion experience in hospital, ambulatory, or home infusion
• ONCC certification preferred, but not required
