How You’ll Impact Care:
We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care Team in Phoenix, AZ delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients across various settings.
As a Mobile RN, you will utilize your expertise in wound management to deliver evidence-based care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Clinical Care & Wound Therapy:
- Be an educator: Empower patients, families, and partners with knowledge that supports wound healing.
- Centre and guide: Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Offer diagnostic stewardship: Administer wound care treatments, including advanced dressing applications, debridement, and infection control procedures, based on physician orders.
- Guide the healing journey: Monitor and evaluate the healing progress of wounds, adjusting care plans as necessary to promote optimal healing.
- Apply clinical expertise: Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and report any adverse reactions (as applicable) in a timely manner.
Collaboration & Care Coordination:
- Work in trusted partnership: Work closely with other nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals with chronic or complex wounds.
- Chart the journey: Review diagnostic test results, interpret findings, and modify care plans based on the patient’s progress and physician recommendations.
- Be consultative: Ensure timely communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans, treatment outcomes, and follow-up needs.
Travel & Mobile Wound Care Responsibilities:
- Extend care across settings: Travel to patient locations, including homes, skilled nursing facilities, and other clinical settings.
- Navigate with intention: Manage travel logistics and maintain professionalism when working in diverse clinical settings.
What You Bring
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in wound care or a related specialty.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred
- Wound care certification (e.g., CWCN, CWOCN, WCC) preferred but not required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical assessment skills.
- You possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
