We are currently seeking multilingual, English + Chinese speaking RN's to fill circulator, sedation, and recovery position. Concourse Diagnostic Surgery Center (CDSC) is an ambulatory surgical center that provides various doctors a location to provide outpatient surgical care to their patients. Our center performs General, OBGYN, ENT, Plastic and ophthalmic surgeries. We also perform GI and pain management procedures. This location in Alhambra is growing and is sister to the main center located in City of Industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition in recovery/PACU and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.)
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
• Maintain thorough documentation
• Maintaining excellent hygiene and safety
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Assist surgeons during operations
• Assist surgical technicians
• Administer sedation
• Proficient IV skills
• Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
• Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
• Follow and maintain HIPPA guidelines

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of emergency care
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures and willingness to follow them at all times
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible and compassionate
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
• Current California RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Language: Chinese

Salary: $43.00 - $60.00 per hour
