Job Title: RN - Operating Room/CVOR

Location: New York, NY - 10016

Shift: 3x12s | 7:00 AM-7:30 PM

Hourly: $81/hr

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic surgical team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CVOR and open-heart procedures, along with a demonstrated ability to function effectively in both scrub and circulating roles.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub and circulating nurse

Administer IVs and perform phlebotomy as needed

Monitor patients under conscious sedation

Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency

Maintain compliance with all hospital and regulatory protocols

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
• Proficient in scrub and circulate roles
• IV insertion and phlebotomy proficiency
• Experience with conscious sedation
• Strong CVOR and open-heart surgery experience required

Education & Certifications

• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification Required)
• AHA BLS Certification
• AHA ACLS Certification
• Verified IV/Phlebotomy experience
