Travel RN Opportunity – ICU Float

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights – 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

Unit Type: ICU & Stepdown (Float Assignment)

Float Details: May be reassigned every 4 hours based on staffing needs

Weekend Requirement: Yes – included in 6-week schedule rotation

Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed

Position Summary

This is a float ICU RN role requiring flexibility and strong clinical skills. Nurses will float between ICU and stepdown units with potential reassignment every 4 hours. You’ll be expected to provide high-quality, compassionate care using the full nursing process and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Must be willing to float between ICU and stepdown
• Basic dysrhythmia competency required
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to formulate and implement effective care plans

• Required:
• Michigan RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• Preferred: BSN
