A Certified School Nurse (CSN) is needed to support K-12 students in the San Juan Capistrano area, starting September 22 through December 12. This contract position involves working primarily at various schools within the district, providing critical health services and overseeing an innovative vision screening process.

Responsibilities Include

• Supervising vision screenings conducted with a modern imaging device that captures pictures of students eyes, replacing traditional vision tests.
• Ensuring compliance with health procedures while overseeing a medical assistant who handles much of the screening work.
• Managing student health needs according to district policies and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborating with school staff to support student wellbeing.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential.
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
