Position Description

Sedation Registered Nurse - Interventional Pain Management

Position Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire | W-2

Standard Shift: Monday – Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Setting: Outpatient or ASC setting

We’re seeking a skilled Sedation RN to bring your talents to an outpatient environment where quality, safety, and patient comfort are top priorities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer moderate (conscious) sedation under physician supervision
  • Monitor patients through all phases: pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post procedure recovery
  • Manage IV access, vital signs, and patient responses during sedation
  • Collaborate with CRNAs, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure patient safety and fluid workflow
  • Fully document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the EHR
  • Educate patients and families about procedure prep, sedation expectations, and recovery best practices
  • Enforce compliance with safety protocols, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Be prepared to respond in emergencies, including assisting with resuscitation if needed

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active Georgia Registered Nurse license required
  • At least 2 years acute care (ICU, ER, or PACU) experience
  • Prior sedation/conscious sedation experience highly preferred.
  • Outpatient or ASC background ideal.
  • Current BLS & ACLS certifications required
  • Strong proficiency in IV therapy, patient monitoring, and emergency response
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and empathy

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Pay: $40 - $45/hr (Apr. Annual Salary $83,200 - $93,600)
  • Paid Time Off: Will be discussed during interview

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday (8 am – 5 pm) - Predictable, daytime, outpatient schedule – no nights, no weekends, no holidays
  • Locations: Primary focus Southeast side of Atlanta. May travel to Athens, Augusta, Savanna, Greenville, Stockbridge, or Convyers Georgia.
