Job Title: RN Director Educator

Location: New York, NY

Shift: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM | 5x8s | Days

Hybrid: 2 days office | 3 days remote

We’re seeking a System Director of Nursing Education to lead and elevate the strategic direction of nursing education across our healthcare system.

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping orientation, onboarding, competency development, and professional growth programs that align with organizational priorities and drive clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of system-wide nursing education programs

Drive innovation in education delivery — simulation, e-learning, virtual reality

Collaborate with executive leadership on workforce development initiatives

Promote equitable access to educational resources across all facilities

Champion specialty certification, continuing education, and advanced practice development

Use data to assess program impact on patient outcomes and staff engagement

Requirements

• Doctoral degree required: DNP, PhD in Nursing Education, or Ed.D
• Current RN licensure (NY preferred)
• Certification in nursing leadership (e.g., NEA-BC)
